“Figure out what lights your fire, then chase your match...” #intothefire #northtexasfirefighters #femalefirefighter #ntxff #livefireday #atticburns #livefiredrills Mykolyn is a go getting, goal setting firefighter of Joshua FD and member of NTXFF. “I may pause for a second but you will never see me quit” she says. “The fire service has taught me a lot, especially starting out on the volunteer side...it takes more than just showing up. It’s hard work, it’s dedication and discipline. It’s getting there and knowing you may be the only one there for the day/ night and station duties, truck checks are all on you and what would normally take a couple hours ends up taking 8.
I wouldn’t change a thing, good experiences, bad experiences, I’ve learned from them all!” Wanna learn more about the fire service? Click on our link or DM us for more info. 🇺🇸🚒 #ntxff #northtexasfirefighters #fireservice #badasschicks #femalefirefighter #firedepartment “Coupling!” #ntxwff #hoselay #northtexasfirefighters Meet Michelle. Member of North Texas Women Firefighters and Firefighter/EMT of White Settlement Fire Department. “At first, I didn’t know if firefighting was a feasible option for me. NTXWFF group helped point me in the right direction with all their insight and advice in terms of how to get started and train. After my first ride along at WSFD, I was hooked. Now, I’m finally working in the career of my dreams.” Have questions how to get in the fire service? Click on our website for more info or DM us for questions. 🚒🚨🇺🇸
